Recieved a VM but no # showed?
My phone was giving off alerts so I checked it and I had a VM...never hear it ring...checked call log no missed call or recieved call...but had a VM...any answers???

If you were out of coverage (or the system couldn't locate your phone for any reason) when the call was made your phone would not know about the missed call. As soon as you re-aquire a tower and establish contact with the system, you would get notification of the VM. You only know about missed calls if they actually ring your phone and you don't answer.
