Headset Volume
I was wondering if anybody had the same problem. When I insert the ear-piece, close the phone, then open it to adjust the volume. It seems like the volume side keys don't work. If I take out and then reinsert the headset, I can then adjust the volume again.

I RETURNED MY 9900 BECAUSE IT WAS MESS UP,I WAS TOLD THAT THE CELLPHONE WAS OUT OF STOCK AND THEY WERE NOT GETTING ANYMORE.SO THEY GAVE ME A 3200 FOR A REPLACEMENT.WOULD THAT BE RIGHT OR DID I MAKE A MAJOR MISTAKE??? 😢

take that 3200 crap back and demand they order you a 9900. they may be out of stock, but they are not discontinued. they can order you one via netace if they dont have any in store.

I'd recommend the LG 3200 as a great basic phone, but it doesn't even compare to the 9900. (No camera, web, Get it Now, etc). I'd get my 9900 back if I were you.

That's odd.....I have two headsets, one with its on volume control and one without. In either case, I am stil able to use the phone's controls.

Jabra and Plantronics, both cause this "unwanted" side effect. Actually, I also noticed that none of the buttons work, not just the volume keys. That's just not right! 😢

I can still use my side button controls while using my plantronics headset... 😕

after you closed and then opened the phone? the buttons work for me if I don't close the phone, and leave it open, but once I do, and then I need to increase the volume, I open the phone again just to discover that none of the buttons work. removing the headset, fixes the issue.

Hello I have had the same problem. 👿 sometimes unplugging wont work either for me. I just took mine back and am going to wait for the 6100 I also have a 7000 and I like it alot. the other thing I didn't like was the flashing caller ID with the VZW logo drove me nuts.
