Its a multi-frequency phone. It is not the best thing since sliced bread! There are phones like that out there and Verizon just plain isn't carrying them. I'm almost so desperate for new technology that I'm considering a switch to AT&T! ..

Seriously. What is keeping Verizon from introducing full featured mobile phones - speakerphone, bluetooth, vga, etc., etc. There are plenty out there. They certainly are big enough to have Motorola and others produce phones for their networks with these features and more!

So forget the SCH unless you travel globally and have a need for the multiple bands.

Motorola has a monopoly on vaporware. Samsung had already release the a790 when motorola's announcement of "we did it first" hit. The a840 still isn't available and the A790 has already gotten user reviews.

As agreed upon in the forums concerning the 840, we'll probably never see it.

Be on the lookout for a nokia global phone though. They seem to actually make phones instead of just making press releases...

Nokia global phone? Any details? It's time for me to upgrade and I'd love to stay with Nokia.
