Seriously. What is keeping Verizon from introducing full featured mobile phones - speakerphone, bluetooth, vga, etc., etc. There are plenty out there. They certainly are big enough to have Motorola and others produce phones for their networks with these features and more!

So forget the SCH unless you travel globally and have a need for the multiple bands.

Hmm, a few corrections.

1) There are no other phones like it. It's a Quad-mode phone. CDMA 800, CDMA 1900, GSM 900, AND GSM 1800. Only one of it's kind right now.

2) Like most Cell companies, new phones launch at the end of summer and begining of fall. Back-to-school specials are when the most consumers purchase mobil phones. 2nd is Christmas, late spring and early summer is just a bad time to be looking for your new technology. The next run of phones will certainly have all the goodies you need.

3) Thirdly, you are correct. A global phone is only for global travelers. If you live in the states and don't travel abroad then this phone is not for you.
