A790 Workable On Sprint Network?

Quick question ...

Would an 'unlocked' version of the SCH-A790 work on the Sprint CDMA network?

Once this phone is more widely available, how could one go about making this happen if it is possible?

Also, whether or not I have this on Sprint or Verizon's network, how does one use it on a GSM network? For instance, could I use this phone on AWS in the USA if I wanted to?

Regards,

I have been given to understand that Verizon's phones are never "locked". Which means that you should be able to use any Verizon phone on Sprint without any unlocking. But I have no proof. Have never tried this myself.

you're right that vzw phones are not locked(except there prepackaged freeup phones) but unlike vzw whos billing system will allow any CDMA handset to be activated(you would just have to be able to program it which is the hard part) sprint will not allow any phones with an esn that is not loaded in their system. i'm sure there is a way to get esn loaded by sprint but you have to know someone i,m sure!

but technically it could work on sprint network.
