HTC One (GSM)

I love the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. It is one of the worst phone builds every (super cheap plastic, broken twice so far) but (in my opinion it has the most amazing software (it has 6 or 7 features that I use that most Android don't offer custom to Samsung)).

So now, here come the HTC One, by far one of the most beautiful phones in aluminum (again, just a personal opinion). However, one would have to be crazy to not put a cover/case on it. I always roll my eyes when I see people carrying their Iphone 5's (with an $800 value) without a case. No matter how careful you are, someone will bump you and then it flies away.

So, if I was careful enough (which I am not) to not need a case, I would snap up the HTC One immediately, even though I will no longer have a few really useful features unique to the Samsung Note 2. So I wonder, is the design of a phone really that important considering 95% of us will place it inside of a silicone or similar case. We all oogle over the beauty, but we really should place it in a case, and when you do, you defeat the purpose of the beauty and design. What would you do, stay with the Note 2 which has better features (for what I use) or get the cooler looking phone, which won't be so cool once its in a case? Confused.
