YES!!! this phone support animated screensaver. The only thing is that you send them as .GIF files, you will have to make them .PNG files.

As for the price of this phone. One of my homie got a silver 5500 on amazon.com for only 50 bux after MIR. BUT!!! now, amazon.com doesn't have just a large rebate anymore like when my homie had gotten the phone. This was like 1 1/2 mth ago.
