I've had the same problem. I can hear them, but they can't hear anything and I'll have a strong signal. Very frustrating, thinking it may be related to the "Re: Dropped calls/constant redialing post" b/c it's happened some with headset too. Today's the 14th day since I bought the phone so last day to return. If they don't give me a new one I'm gonna downgrade to a phone that actually works. What's the point of all these features if you can't talk on it?
Also, i find talking using the headset rather uncomfortable. It's very walkie talkie/nextel sounding/feeling. I think stretching out the screen has put the earpiece in a position i really don't like. Just one man's opinion.
Anyone have any idea if using speaker with phone open/closed ha...

try to go to setting, then go to roaming, then to set mode and switch from automatic to sprint mode see if that helps.

I can't really test it extensively while I'm at work. Speakerphone has worked at times, but not others so it's tough to tell if it's fixed or just not acting up. I did have it on the automatic mode thinking this would give me the best signal since I'm on the free roaming plan - Is this a new feature? My signal has always shown 2-5 bars, but not always been strong.
This is my second phone, which i plan on having for two years. i want to have the top of the line, but don't want something i'll be miserable with ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
