Anyone have this phone
Saw it today at the Verizon store in Salisbury, MD.21804 New two year contract price was 79.99 I'm sure the price will go down soon, considering there is no external caller ID and no speakerphone, and just 20 programmable voice dial slots. Its only advantage over the LG VX3200 is full Get-it-Now capability. I smell a rebate coming on pretty soon...Welcome to the new low-end cheapy phone.

I've only had it since Tuesday. So far so good. I like it. It doesn't have all the fancy extras some phones have, but I don't need all that stuff.
I can't seem to get the "Get it now" to work.
It won't connect to the server (or whatever it connects to). 😡

How is the sound quality, the display quality, battery life, signal strength, etc...

I don't know about the battery life yet, only had it a week and haven't used it that much.
The display is real nice, bright and colorful, quite a change from my old phone which didn't have color display.
Haven't had a problem with signal strength, usually full.
Sound quality is a lot better than my old phone as well. I can hear real well and am told I sound clear on the other end.
I am very pleased with it so far - except the whole not being able to connect to get it now.
I did port my number from sprint. I also ported my wife's number - she has a different phone and GIN works fine.
I guess it's a phone issue, but I guess they know about it and are fixing it - like the other post suggested.

It sounds wierd that Get It Now can not work... Did you transfer your number from other company, like Sprint, before?

Per Samsung there seems to be a software issue with the phone and the GIN application. A solution to the problem is in the works..be patient.
