Samsung Rugby3 freezing and rebooting when editing contact or adding contact to SIM card?

Hello. I have a Samsung Rugby 3 and I have had it for about a month. I am having a problem with it freezing and rebooting. I bought my first Samsung Rugby 3 in early February, took it back for this freezing and rebooting problem that I am having an issue with. I got it replaced with the one I currently have. I sent the current one in for repairs and it came back doing the same thing. What happens is when I attempt to edit a contact's telephone number that is stored on the SIM card, the phone will freeze. It beeps rapidly, freezes, the screen blinks once, then comes back on, auto adjusting the brightness, then the phone reboots. Sometimes, after doing all of that, it will shut itself off altogether. Never mind. I figured out what the problem was. After having an online chat with a Samsung representative, I was told that the phone does not support that feature and that is why the phone freezes and reboots like that. The phone works just fine if I add a new contact to the phone and copy it to the SIM card.

I do want to point out that the phone does not come with the most recent operating system and my phone was sent back in to Samsung for repairs. The phone's operating system ended up being reloaded onto my phone and the phone was sent back to me. Everything is fine with it now.

I went shopping at AT&T store, decided to get a Rugby III, but didn't want to pay the $270 price tag. I went home and ordered one for $100 (new) off Amazon. When it arrived, it had an error where it didn't recognize it's own IMEI number, and therefor couldn't sync with the AT&T Address Book. I exchanged it with the seller, got another one, it did the same thing. In talking with the seller, they said their supplier was "working on it". While I was waiting for them to figure it out, I ordered, again from Amazon, but a different vendor, another Rugby III. This one came, and had the error described above.
