I'm trying to preprogram my voicemail password into the voicemail number in this Samsung, (Menu 1, 9, 2) and I'm trying to add a pause (*), the password, then pound.. it's saying "Wrong number". Funny enough thats how it's documented to be done on the ATTWS internal website... Anyone else figure out how?

what exactly says "wrong number"? is it the ATT system? or the cell phone? you HAVE to have 2 pauses in there or else it would not work.......try that and let me know

The phone itself is saying "WRONG NUMBER" at the error screen. It even doesn't work with two pauses...

You wants to make sure you are not putting your dialable number into the Voicemail box number. It is a specific number to your market and is called a Voicemail retrievel number. The exacts way it should appear in the screen of the fon when you are setting this up is +1XXXXXXXXXXPPP#password The x's are the vm retrievel number. To get the P which are the pauses you will press and hold the * key on most models for 2 seconds.
