Ok we should start our Christmas shopping.

Why won't it turn on? What's going on?!
WHY IS THE SCREEN CRACKED?!?!

That's how it went down. There is a crack running across the screen. How? When? What happened?

I have no clue. Maybe I bumped into a corner. Maybe I leaned against a counter too hard.

Did not drop it. No rough contact. I've been handling this thing like a newborn.

Took it to the Verizon store with just a prayer that they'd be able to help me out. (been with ATT customer service for years, so I know how it goes)
But of course, physical damage, no warranty.

The crack isn't even on the surface. Still super smooth on top. You can tell it's in there. Under the glass.
So much for Gorilla Glass.

Is it possible that this can be a manufacturer defect? Something so lightly handled? Maybe the way it was put together caused some stress on the screen, then the slightest bump finally made it give?

Someone give me some ideas here.
