I'm coming from the HTC Droid. The first one. I've spent two years with the HTC phone and have become very accustomed to a few things.

These are features which I thought would carry over to any other phone. Very very very useful features to me.

First of all, the clock. There are only two types of clocks? The "circle" widget, which has a clock, weather, and battery life.
The other clock is an analog clock which takes up way too much space I think. Nope, don't like it.

Next issue with the clock, with the HTC, you could tap the clock to get to a number of other items, such as alarms, stopwatch, timer, AND desk clock.
Not with this one. You tap on the clock widget and it will only give you the alarm settings.

Oh... and no widget available to easily turn off the data.
I'm just afraid of using up data needlessly when my phone is idle.

I know it's a bit of a hassle with the basic appearance/overlay being different, but most of those issues can be solved simply by downloading free apps.

Any phone with a flash for the camera can work as a flashlight, simply download a flashlight app.

Things like Beautiful/Fancy Widgets work a lot like the Sense UI.

If you REALLY want to change things up, you can always download GO Launcher or something similar.

Just today I found a heat flashlight app. Perfect for what I needed. Now I'll go find those widgets you speak of. I think I've seen them before.
Also, I'll have to look into this Go launcher as well. Haven't heard of that one.

And try using the Smart Actions...they really help save data. And make the phone act in different ways depending where you are, and the time of day.

The menu usually appears in the lower left corner, or other corners depending on the app. It looks like 3 little squares stacked vertically.

Could be, it's just a matter of figuring out how to use this new fangled device. I know it took me a while with the Razm M.

As RichardM said, yup, the menu icon will switch around depending on which app you're using.
It does take a while to get used to. Especially when nothing is labeled. Everything has now changed to icons with no description to what they are really.

Just takes practice I guess.
