I was once with you on the sealed battery thing. But it does make fore a better water proofing and slimmer design. No days you can find battery powered phone chargers to get you by in a pinch that you would normally put your secondary battery in.

The Atrix 4G was a $199 phone when it was released. Your prices are from long after it was released.

Here's my very uneducated guess, in a few months or weeks we'll see the Atrix HD maxx with web top and a better battery.
