Slight confusion

People should be aware that the Authority and the Ultra are not identical.

The Authority is a CDMA phone (from Criket) that uses Dragontrail Glass, and does not have an hdmi port.

The Ultra (OT-995S) is a GSM/UMTS phone supporting the T-mobile bands (should also work with AT&T to some degree) and offered in the by Simple Mobile's phone partner Quality One Wireless of Orlando Florida.

The differnce to note is CDMA verses GSM.

In some markets in the USA the OT-960C is sold as both the Authority and the Ultra. In some markets in the USA and in ROW the OT-995 is the Ultra. The description differences are still that the 960C is CDMA and the 995S/995A are GSM.

ONE TOUCH 995A: GSM/GPRS/EDGE in quad-band
(850/900/1800/1900 MHz) or UMTS in Tri-band (850/1900/2100 MHz)
ONE TOUCH 995S: GSM/GPRS/EDGE in quad-band
(850/900/1800/1900 MHz) or UMTS in Tri-band (850/1700/2100 MHz)
ONE TOUCH 995 (Europe) GSM/GPRS/EDGE in
quad-band with 850/900/1800/1900 MHz or UMTS in dual-band with
900/2100 MHz.

ONE TOUCH 960C CDMA 1xEV-DO rev.A
