Samsung Galaxy S III (Verizon)
Benefits of 2gb's of RAM?. . .
reload faster after pressing the home button?
This is sooo rare that those of us in the U.S.
actually getting an improvement in specs compared
to Europe!!!
Who cares about quad-core, there have been plenty
of YouTube vids proving the S4 is just as capable
as the quad-core, the S4 processor can even handle
Tegra 3 games, with ease.
running smooth.
So is there any chance more RAM will result in
honester icons & folders will display faster when pressing the home button?
It's extremely frustrating pressing the home button and waiting for all these application icons to
reappear.
Old android devices that have a small amount of ram did not have enough memory to keep all of that information active. So it had to clear out all of the available memory to make use of certain apps.
When the app is closed, the homescreens or application screens may appear blank becuase the phone has to reload that information back into it's memory. This is not a malfunction, and is completly normal.
Droid Charge count as "older"?
Also, how much RAM us necessary to press the home button and all the icons, apps, and folders will always be there, and accessible?
