US vs International regarding cores.

US version is only dual core, but the international is quad core? US has smaller battery too. I wonder why the difference.
I'm happy to see it's a world phone!

The US version has LTE and more memory.

In order to support LTE, at the moment, it must use a Qualcomm chipset (which US carriers prefer anyway.)

Qualcomm doesn't make a quad-core chip just yet.

But number of cores aren't everything. Most benchmarks clock Qualcomm's dual-core S4 chip (which this has) as fast or faster than any quad-core chip on the market. So in real-world speed, you're not missing out on anything. This version is about as fast as a phone gets today.
