Did it. The only way to do it is to email it to yourself.
And about the white screen... I replaced the LCD cable and it works like a charm.
Also - I noticed that if you activate the LCD screen BEFORE sliding up the phone, (hold down the 2 volume buttons) the screen works! You have to unlock the keypad by holding down the unlock button, but if you dont want to replace the cable, this is a workaround for your problem! It may still work if, after you have done this, to slide the phone up and get to the number keypad, but your display may act up a little bit. Give it a try.
