HTC One X
AT&T not getting the full potential!!!
so regarding this phone.
set release date is the beginning of April 2012.
i have read on numerous sites that this phone is a quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. which would be great if it was released just as such. However, AT&T customers will be getting half that. Yes, we will be getting Dual core processing and not Quad core.
why would you cut us short AT&T??? Why!
Geforce is of course a better GPU than Adreno (by little)
The real deal with these chipsets is the battery life.
Nvidia's is 40nm and Qualcomm's is 28. Even though Nvidia's iddles with lower power consumption than Qualcomm's, and at 100% load it consumes a lot more power.
Synthetic benchmarks (and gaming performance tests) can be found in several websites (including Anandtech.com)
Need to wait for the review when both phones become available
This will be a great phone however.
I just wish HTC made better voice phones...
The best LTE-compatible chip at the moment is the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4. So that's what HTC is putting in the AT&T version. It's very fastest chip anyone can possibly put in an LTE phone at the moment. Qualcomm claims it's actually faster than Nvidia's quad-core chip, and, in fact, benchmarks show that it's extremely, extremely fast.
Cores aren't everything.
