automatic button pressing problem
its been great, till last night. heres the problem i now have:
whenever i open the phone it enters in 2580 (the digits in the middle row of a phone)and volume up accompanied by the annoying 'beeeeeep' noise you get when a button is pressed for too long. it just keeps "pressing" those buttons.
i press "end" and the problem appears to go away, as everything now appears normal, until you investigate further
i can now use any key as long as they aren't 2, 5, 8, or volume up (OR DOWN, even though it enters in volume up when you first flip it open)
the problem doesn't end there:
when someone calls me, the volume up key is being pressed ceaselessly, so the call is instantly muted (when its ringing, pressing volume up/down will mute the ring). consequently, i never know when anyone is calling me, so i have to annoyingly check it every 15 minutes or so to make sure i haven't missed anything.
banging my phone on the floor does not seem to help, despite several attempts.
i appreciate any feedback. if you wish to e-mail me a response, i lied to this phonescoop site because i hate registering (check the username), so don't e-mail it to whatever i have listed (i believe its an @spambob.com account - nifty site) so instead e-mail it to jexdawg13@gmail.com or simply reply here. i'll check it often, because this is really frustrating me.
any questions/comments/solutions are welcome
thanks in advance,
jexdawg13@gmail.com
