Over Charge
When I'm charging my phone, and it reaches the fully charged state, a message with a tone is displayed. This message and it's tone continue until the phone is disconnected from the charger.
The problem occurs if I'm not in the vicinity and the phone remains connected to the battery charger after it has charged.
When I disconnect from the charger at some time after the phone is charged, the tone and the message continue to be activated. This appears to go on for a length of time that is equivalent to the length of time that elapsed between reaching full charge and finally being disconnected from the charger.
The tone is extremely annoying and I would like to shut it up!
Any ideas as to what is going on and how to stop it?
