Some of you have frequently asked how to upload ring tones to your cell phone successfully. I've finally figured out a way. Follow these few steps
carefully.

1. Get the ring tone you want and save it on your computer.

3. Set up a vzwpix account @ www.vzwpix.com. This is free.

4. Go to the upload section and upload your files u can do up to 5 at a time. 75 saved files in total 😁 l.

5. After uploading it as a wav. or wave. file, move it to an inbox folder. Then send it to your self at create ...

In order to get ringtones on your computer first go to funformobile.com then on the left side of the homepage look under help and click on ringtone source. Click on whichever link u want. Listen to the ringtones u want then right click with your mouse the one you want to download and click on download.

For audio converters go to http://www.download.com/3120-20_4-0.html?qt=a udio+converter&tg=dl-20&search.x=0&search.y=0 &search=+Go%21
this is a link to many free audio converters

The ringtones can only be 30 seconds long. which isn't that bad. On the samsung sch670 u can store
only 10-11 ringtones before its full.

I did something similar from a site which converts automatically, but now I have a problem with an overheated phone, and very short battery life. Is it a Verizon plan to protect there ringtones?

Is the problem related? Verizon says *no*.

Yes. this problem is related i guess this is the glitch or the downside to doing this ringtone trick. I'm not sure if their is a verizon plan to protect there ringtone. Try to get the extended battery for the phone. And don't pull out your battery when the phone is off that damages the battery life. If u want to take out the battery turn the phone of first

I also noticed that when the Verizon logo and time/date info flash quickly, my phone gets hot, and battery drains rapidly. What's that all about?

I'm not sure about the one. I've just noticed the my battery dies a lot faster. i'm not sure what the reason is. I figured it must have been the ringtones. The flashing of the logo, really does mean anything. Do u still have the ringtones on your phone

Yes... I still have the ringtones, altho I deleted the incoming messages from my inbox. I thought that helped, as I held a full charge for 2 days afterwards. Today I opened the phone to notice the logo was blinking like crazy, and the phone was warm. It was in standby, and was dead within a few hours, with no calls taken or made.
