Samsung SCH-A670

I have lousy audio quality. It's constantly breaking up, and I am always asking people to repeat themselves. They can hear me just fine. I don't see any other references to this problem, so I wonder if there's something wrong with my unit. Anyone experience this?

Note: I'm still in Verizon's 15 day return period. But if I bring the unit in for exchange, I will receive in return *a refurbished unit* with a *90 day* warranty. That *really* stinks. (Same deal returning under the 1 year warranty!)
