Being that Verizon just released the A610 today, is it safe to say this phone is not going to be released for quite some time? This phone will crush the sale of the A610...no external caller id?? Why even make the phone.

I agree 100% about the A610 plus it has to be one of the ugliest phones I've ever seen. I wish Verizon put more effort into their phone selection.
Really looking forward to the A670 - it seems to have everything I want. My contract is up in March and I hope this phone is available by then.

Indeed, the a610 is a bit worthless. Supposevly the rumor is the v810 of moto on the 30th of April, do you all think before, or after the v810 will Verizon put it out?

The A670, along with the Audiovox 9900 and the LG7000, will not be released untill well after the V810. Why would they try to put a still shot only phone out when camcorders are available? Noone would buy the V810. Motorola had bad timing with the release of the 730, cus for the same price, or cheaper, everyone was buying the camera phone. Most customers want the best phone in the store or the cheapest phone, one extreme or the other. Hardly anyone settles for in between. Right now the non-camera color screen phones, the 4400, the 730, and the a530, are the 'tweeners, and sales on those handsets aren't going anywhere.
