Samsung SCH-A670
This phone will be out sooner than you think
I am verizon phone salesman and i was in the store when a customer came in and handed me her phone. It just happened to be the Samsung A570. I couldn't believe it. It looks like an awsome phone. I had a chance to check it out for a couple minutes and it performes well. The camera doesn't look alot better than the Vx6000 but it has flash and video playback. So expect it sooner than march or april.

I don't really know when this phone will be out, But I can tyell you the phone looks great in person. The customer never came back into the store after tyhat day but, but I can Assure you that it was the A670 and yes, the pictures are more clear than the Vx6000. I was not able top check on the flash part of the phone but I'm sure that it probably was top noch.

Do you have an idea of the price range, or the rebates to be offered? My guess could be a $200 layout, with the $100 Mail-In phone rebate? Would I be out to much on a limb to say that? I feel as if Verizon will offer the price to be somewhat like the T720 put out by Motorolla.

You were probably right in thinking the phone is going to be somewhere in the 200 dollar range, but looking at the range of camera phones that are coming out the rebate will be more in the 50 to 70 dollar range. Expect the final price to be something like 149.99 after rebate. The T720 came out with a 100 dollar rebate with the trade in of an existing phone. Verizon won't do that anymore.
