Well I paid $400 for mine on eBay. I then sold my old phone and got $60. So total out of pocket was only $340.00

Its not "that" expensive when considering all of its features. And I have spoken to a couple of people with both the V525 & V600 and they all report that the V525 is a better phone. Well... I can't rate the V600 cause I don't own one, but I absolutely love my V525.

P.S. I have discovered that it even displays Windows .bmp files - WHOA!

Rumor has it that sometime late 2003 Motorola switched LCD suppliers to Sharp, whom produces LCDs far superior to the previous supplier's. The V525 was already on the market, and the existing stock with the old LCDs were all sold, while the stock of V600s w/ old LCDs had been piling up. So the result of this is that the first wave of V600 will have the old LCD while the V525 will already have been selling with the new LCD for some time. .. or so I tend to believe. 🙂
