Ok- Just Got the V505 1 Week Ago. Specs on phone scoop state the hands free is a 2.5mm jack. Sales person at ATT sold me a starter kit for Motorola (V180 & V220) he said it was compatible. Question: I dont think the handsfree jack for the V505 is 2.5 mm; do I need an adapter? I have not been able to find a handsfree (non bluetooth) to fit; everything I have found seems to be the 2.5mm single/straight plug type. Can you advise?

Actually it does take a single straight plug type. It doesn't look like it from the bottom where the charger plugs in but the plug in is actually at the top of the phone - on the top right - but you have to remove the little tiny plug to plug it in. I missed it too and was stumped...
Good luck
