Voice ringers? As in ringtones that are in the sound of human voices? If I'm getting the right idea, I'd say try recording the voice as an mp3, then upload to some webspace, access it on your phone, and download. I used to use euploader to upload mp3's, but they recently disabled mp3 uploading, so now I've got this other site:
http://www.wapstranky.cz/java.php?type=10 »
It's not in English, but it's free free free, and it works. 🙂
You click browse to enter your file (I usually enter the one that says "mophun" when I upload mp3's), then click the "vlozit" button at the bottom.
A red url will show up at the top...enter this url into your phone, and highlight & select "start instalace".
Download your file and you've got your sound bite! ...

Does anyone know how to save just a piece of the MP3 song....as an MP3 file so that I can use it as a ring tone?? The only way I have been able to figure something out is to record it through my p.c. but it saves it as a .wav file and the phone does not recognize it.... any help would be appreciated! 😁

Download a MP3, Use the file mentioned earlier in one of my threads, then use a USB to transfer to MotoV300, That's the only way I know... Thanks again ACE. (BTW That's a hint for the Previous message... Pssst ACE.. 🙂)

I've finally had so some time to attempt to use this site, .. but to no avail, ☚ī¸ I still can't recieve the ringer, so I have two questions if you would not mind answering.

1) When attempting to upload the files at/for the "mophun" link, do the files HAVE to be mp3?
-I've tried mp3, winmap and just about everything but .wav ( because I don't have any music files in this format)

2) You did say that I should go to the "red" url that come up afrter the upload correct?
-Because When I upload the file and go to the url, I either get a messg of "file not found", or unacceptable.

please any assitance would be greatly appreciated

1) Well, I'm sure they don't HAVE to be mp3's...mp3's are the only file types I've tried so far, and those seem to be the files that most people have questions about anyway. 😛
2) Hmmm....can't really say what the problem could be there. Maybe your file's too big? Keep in mind that the V300 has only 5MB of space for sounds. Try converting your mp3's to a lower quality (like 32kb or maybe 48kb) to minimize size.
Hope that helps some. 🙂

🙂 yes the web site listed by silverdragon129 works. http://www.wapstranky.cz/java.php?type=10

although it took me a while I was able to navigate the site and upload my mp3

To download to my phone I simply emailed myself with the link provided by the wepstranky website. I then had to go into the email menu and choose "goto" option on the phone. The phone then navigated to the link and automatically downloaded the mp3.

one site does it all:
http://myPhoneFiles.com »

You can upload MP3 ringers to your personal space and then send them to the phone from there.

Also there is software where you can crete your own voice ringers from CD tracks, MP3 files (and a bunch of other formats), or even record your own voice (or anyone else's for that matter) through the computer's microphone - then you send it to your phone straight from the computer. Very handy app - and very addictive.
