So......I got the razr today. Awesome phone to start with, but as I was programming it, I noticed that when there is an all black screen that there are lines or ink blot looking things in the screen. The lines do not show up under normal use or when there are colors other then black displayed If you want to see what I am talking about, turn off the flash on the camera, cover up the camera lens and take a picture so you end up with a black picture. Now view that picture in a dark room and you will most likely see black lines or ink plot looking marks in the screen. Rest assured, I went back to the Verizon store immediately and there happened to be a Motorola Representative there at the time. I asked to speak with him. I actually looked at his phone and it did the same thing! His explanation, which seemed absolutely legitimate, was that it has to do with the fact that the razr uses the super amoled display, which is actually based on a type of gel. This was his explanation and I think that he is actually telling the truth. My question the other razr owners is:
1.) Does your razr have these mysterious lines and blots using the method to test it as I described above?
2.) Do you believe the Motorola Representative?
Thanks
