Samsung Galaxy Nexus (LTE)
Saw The Phone Today...VERY Disappointed
Camera
Everyone talks about it. I was expecting features similar to my Samsung Fascinate. Previous Samsung smartphone cameras had leading features. This camera has much less configurability that any other Samsung camera including only 5 scenes, no focus choice, no exposure choice, no ISO choice, no "anti-shake", no image adjustments.
They make it easier to upload an image, but what difference does it make if the image has problems? My test exposures were ok; many online are awful.
Note, Samsung smartphones have had panoramic pictures for some time already.
Screen Real Estate
It is very cute to have the control button rotate with the screen. However, they are taking 150 or so of those ...

the buttons make it a 4.5" screen which is .2" bigger than the rezound
when watching videos though you get the full 4.65" screen
swype is coming, no big deal...the stock keyboard is very good. I've gotten used to it quite easily even after using swype on my x for almost a year.
phone size to me seems better than the razr because the razr just feels to wide for me - proportions are better on the nexus ... as for the rezound, it's portly compared to both these devices

You apparently don't need a high end smartphone. However this is a bit faster 2009 phone with a big screen. Not very impressive.
Basically I don't think that Samsung/Google was trying to limit features, but trying to make it more simplified and efficient. 11+ scene modes can be rather confusing for most consumers and seem unnecessary.

I'm sorry but a phones camera is not a deciding point for me. I have over 3k in camera equipment so when I pull out my phone for pictures I am not wanting to make adjustments or use gimmicky anti-shake with a wide angle lens. 13 scene modes is a bit excessive and I think the average user would probably just rather not use any than choose between 13. I've sold cameras in the past and the ones with 10+ scene were mostly overlooked by customers. Ones with 5 more common modes were user friendly and used more often.
