I ran in to the same problem 3wks ago. Originally looking at the 730 at Verizon, I let a sales guy (who had a 720) talk me into an LG4500 because of the voice recognition. Voice dial is crutial to me.
Well, the LG lasted about 10 days and I got tired of literally arguing with the phone. Even after going through the whole "learn your voice" process, it couldn't pick the right number from a list of 12! No flames from you LG'ers.
So I went back for the 730 and none could be found- online, at my local Verizon store or anywhere within a 50mi radius. Lucky for me, the Verizon customer service rep (who also had the 730) was all over it and got her manager to special request one back from their warehouse. I was told to come and get it quick, because it was the last one in the DC area! That was 2wks ago.
Bottom line: Moto 710 will replace it sometime this summer and with a camera, BTooth, IR port, etc. will be a neat gaget phone, but who knows the cost and base performance.
Glad I got mine while the getting was good!
