I am almost afraid to admit this, but I really hadn't played with the Torch until today at a Verizon store.
Build quality looked pretty good. At least when new I would never have known about a plastic type screen.

Surepress should not have been given up on. If you can get used to life without it the 9850 is familiar. You can easily learn it if you are a Storm user or "survivor" Laughing

It's faster, has lots of improvements to the whole experience. The increased real estates a plus. The keyboard in landscape mode is where I saw a huge difference. It's spread out more and actually threw off my typing.

The keys at the bottom look a little funky but Storm 2 with the early builds had issues with the integrated keys working properly. I liked Storm 1 keys better.

To me it's not a bad phone. I may possibly get one and then when a decent QNX phone comes out use a credit from another one of our business accounts to get on at that time.
