Minnesota... In fact the Rep said they were supposed to get them last Monday. She also said there is a huge waiting list but thought they would have plenty. We'll know more soon. I'm calling tomorrow (Monday)

I have called Verizon stores and no one knows anything about this phone (or at least they are not saying anything). One sales rep did say they new Phones are introduced in test markets and on the Internet. So you might find the 600 on-line before it is available in your local store.
One rep did say that it wouldn't be available until the end of the summer..so I don't know about the 7/12 date. It sounds like a rumor to me since the local rep I talked to said that training usually happens well in advance of the phone being available and he hadn't heard anything.

When the Kyocera 7135 was first introduced (after a lengthy delay) it was only available on the internet for some period. Availability in stores lagged by almost a month.

From the infomation I have, 7/12 is the date that the release date is supposed to be ANNOUNCED. The release date for the phone will be right in time for back2school timeframe becuse august-september and dec-jan is when people buy the most phones acording to our research. Expect the phone in august or september.
