Motorola Droid 3

First of all, I love the features of this phone. Unfortunately, the battery life negates any advantages of this otherwise awesome phone. I thought I had the problem solved by turning off the data connection until I needed it. That seemed to work for a couple of days, but now it's back to its normal battery drain. I've tried every possible solution I could find and nothing works. I have everything turned off or turned down and still the battery is averaging 10-20% drop per hour with NO USE. No calls, no texts, nothing. I just unlock the phone, check the battery hourly, and relock. Something is draining the battery and I hope Verizon will hear this and hopefully correct it. I wouldn't have bought this phone if I had known it wouldn't hold a charge for a single day of standby. I'm not sure where they got the advertised 300 hours of standby??
