Does it sync with Outlook(including notes/location feilds)?
If you use the web browser(Opera?) would you need to subscribe to t-zones?
Can you use mp3 as ringtones?

Actully you don't have to subscribe to t-zones. Wap access with t-mobile is free. t-zones is just paying for their homepage and customized quick links. They set it up to be a bit confusing so a lot of people have it and don't really need it. Opera is jut using gprs which is free with t-mobile.

That is very interesting ... Is the same true for Series 40 phones such as Nokia 6820 as they cannot use Opera browsers ?

Yes it does sync with MS Outlook if you download the Nokia 6600 PC Suite. 🙂

True, but two things to note:
1) The 6600 Suite is just as flaky as other versions of the Nokia's PC Suite. It does not install and work easily, the installation manual is wrong and activating synchronization is cumbersome.
2) There is NO support in the 6600 Suite for SMS messaging and apparently no support planned. This means you cannot send or receive SMS messages to/from your computer.

I have problems syncing Outlook Calendar with my 6600 (v4.09.1). Contacts work fine, trying to sync Calendar causes an app to close on the 6600 and no sync occurs.
