hello spirit22, Yes I do have the predecessor to the GS2. I have been riding the Android wave ever since the G1 came out and haven't looked back. 
For me its hard to compare BB vs Android because I have never been a fan of the BB system nor have I liked the look of the keyboard on the face of the phone. My only experience with a BB device came about 6 years ago where my wife had one but that only lasted about 2 months then she got a different one. My experience with Android has been nothing but a pleasant one where with Android if you can think it there is an app out there that will do it for you without having to worry about unlocking or rooting your phone. I'm sure if you are currently using a BB system you might be more reluctant to switch but for me its a no brainer...LOL (Hopefully an Android rep is watching this so that maybe they can give me a kickback for pushing their system...Just kidding
