Why less pixels???

I would want this phone for myself. It meets most of my needs, I like a screen size between 3.7-4.0", a physical keyboard, with Android 2.3. But I also need a sharp screen! Why did they reduce the sharpness, below todays standards? I would gladly pay $20-25 more for a better screen!

I don't understand it, and I am afraid that this phone may be another looser.

When will LG wake up and smell the coffee? I mean, they know already that they're behind the race, why offer a brand new phone with a display with below standard resolution?? 😈

Because this device is aimed at the budget conscious, not the tech savvy. The customers who are attracted to this device generally won't be comparing pixel density. They want an inexpensive Android device that is easy to text with. Most of them will likely be upgrading from an EnV Touch or EnV3. Some may also trade their Ally for this one if they have an annual upgrade. Android isn't supposed to be restricted to only high end devices. If you want a class-leading handset with a full keyboard, there isn't much to choose from other than the Droid 3. Keep in mind most people who are Android OS enthusiasts already have an Android device, and won't pay the Enlighten any notice, as their eyes are on nicer phones.
