Sprint's 4G service which is provided by Clearwire sucks also. That's IF you're even able to get a signal it takes a bit of time to acquire or re-acqiure an IP and the battery drain is horrid. Manually turning 4G on or off just to keep the battery from dying so fast is a PITA. T-Mobiles 4G service is always on, so long as it's in your area and it doesn't drain the battery anymore then it would under 3G conditions.
I only keep the EVO cuz I love the actual phone itself and I'm on an employee plan. I wouldn't have Sprint service otherwise. Updating the radio makes Sprint's 3G service much more bareable now, but WiMax is a HUGE HUGE dissapointment. At least in my area, and other areas I travel too. (So. Cal.)
