The Evo has nothing on this phone. I have one and I absolutely hate it, mainly due to Sprint's service & their "4G" This phone will actually run on more realistic 4G, has a bigger battery, a quicker processor, Android 2.3 and Sense 3.0. It'll blow the Evo and any other predecessor out of the water. Cant wait!

You have an Evo and I am guessing you work for T-mobile I mean stated in the name and all. If you hate your Evo, why do you have it? If you hate your Sprint service, why do you have it? Let me know when you hit your 2GB's and YOUR "4G" isn't so "4G" anymore. Does T-Mobile realize in there commercials that they have people wanting to stream NBA video but with that 2GB cap that faster speed will only last about 25 minutes? Well then there no better than a 3G network at that point! You can even stream a full game! I hate to use this word but FAIL!

Good luck!

T-Mobile's 2GB cap is LAME, but at least they don't charge you if you go over like AT&T does.

Sprint's 4G service which is provided by Clearwire sucks also. That's IF you're even able to get a signal it takes a bit of time to acquire or re-acqiure an IP and the battery drain is horrid. Manually turning 4G on or off just to keep the battery from dying so fast is a PITA. T-Mobiles 4G service is always on, so long as it's in your area and it doesn't drain the battery anymore then it would under 3G conditions.

I only keep the EVO cuz I love the actual phone itself and I'm on an employee plan. I wouldn't have Sprint service otherwise. Updating the radio makes Sprint's 3G service much more bareable now, but WiMax is a HUGE HUGE dissapointmen...

It's not fair to compare this as-of-yet unreleased phone to the year-old EVO. It WOULD be fair to compare it to the EVO 3D which will be released at about the same time. The EVO 3D out-specs this phone: It has a 3D display and more on-board memory. Otherwise, they are two very similar phones (and from the same manufacturer).
