Great choice for a tight budget

by mkl4466    Sep 21, 2011, 9:42 AM

Expect this to be a great selling device. much more affordable than the other 4g phones. Some nice touches are included, such as a physical camera key and voice dial key on the sides. Those are both missing from higher class phones right now. The screen is a great size, same as the incredible 2, so you get lots of screen space without making the phone too massive. Speaker won't fill an entire room. but is loud enough to hear a video playing. Comes with a few nice widgets, such as a calendar, which nobody else but HTC puts in their phones. Gingerbread runs well. Didn't notice any lag. Scored pretty well in browsermark, low 40's, about even with the revolution in that regard, with both the stock browser and dolphin. Lock screen Flash content loaded just fine. It is very plastic, just doesn't feel luxurious, and along with the 5 megapixel camera without a flash, this is not a flagship device, but it will do very well for folks who are looking for a very capable device, without dropping 2 to 3 hundred on a higher calibre unit.
