It looks like the two 540 x 960 pixel contenders on Sprint will be the EVO 3D and the Motorola Atrix 4G. Any opinions on the two options? Neither the 3D feature of the HTC nor the docking feature of the Motorla are relevant to me.

Evo 3d wins hands down. I am not a fan of Motorola's smart phones. There are already several issues with the Atrix. I am not saying the Evo 3d won't potentially have some issues at release, but if its anything like the launch of the Evo 4g the problems should be negligible.

I am a -former- owner of the original Motorola Droid, and I am done with Motorola like a bad girlfriend! ! ! Problems with the touchscreen, keyboard, and charging port!

But with reguards to the EVO 3D, personally I am not an all-touch smartphone person, but I will say that I don't think there will be any smartphone to reach the market for ALL of 2011 that will come close to comparing to the EVO 3D.

Thats not the case because the motorola atrix is an AT&T exclusive so it wont be coming to sprint if sprint is your only option of phone carrier and you want those specific dimensions then you will have to go with the EVO 3D if your willing to go to AT&T then you can get the matrix. If the docking feature doesnt excite you then I would probably go with the EVO because you probably wouldnt get the full use out of the Atrix
