Kyocera SE47 / SE44 / V5 (Slider)
Differences for how-to
I know this is a silly question, as I assume the SE44/47/V5 are all (generally) the same phone, but is there a significant difference in the SE44 that would make the SE47's how-to guide non-applicable for it?
I've had my slider for well over a year now, I think, and I remember finding help forums for adding my own ringers and wallpaper and such. I've got quite a little library of midis and wallpapers on my slider but only after going through a couple of phones. (One got washed, accidentally and wouldn't stay charged afterwards and had to be replaced so that doesn't count.)
I remember reading that you could use MP3s on the slider, but there were no specifics given for the MP3, so I popped one onto my phone and it crashed and could not be powered up or even accessed by the dealer to transfer my data (wallpapers, phone book, etc) to the new phone. I'd like to get an MP3 ringer onto my phone, but don't want to go through that again since the phone is no longer under warranty and the dealer will no longer replace it.
