HELP!!! i need a desion
im 13 and im getting a cell phone now a have an ancient nokia i didnt bother to see what the numbers are....anyway i need to no whether i should get the slider or vox8610(hense the username) the slider has cool games and the whole slide thing is awesome but the vox is cheaper and plays better rings......HELP!! anything would help

I have an idea of what you're getting at... tech stuff can seem to get a little out of hand for kids these days. BUT! I think cell phones are the best safety tool for kids in today's society.

how about learning to spell decision first?? yeh i think cell phones are useful for children in 'today's society' but parents should step up to the challenge first.. but thats all for another day.

Nevertheless! Yes, it would be nice for parents to "step up to the challenge", however that doesn't account for the fact that people are not perfect. Even if they wanted to, parents cannot always predict every event and moment in a child's life. Sometimes children make mistakes too and they can find themselves stranded and/or in a potentially dangerous situation. Sometimes (gasp) even parents can make mistakes.
Even if children use their phones primarily to play games and chat with their friends (incidently a phone can be restricted!), at least they will have a communication tool at hand if necessary. I would certainly s...

By the way i got the slider and didnt like it a while ago now im getting the 6620 anyway....... my father passed away and in december of 03 i wouldnt have known untill a day later and would have been even more shocked and devastated than now if i didnt have a phone i understand all that tech stuff more than anyone in my family if you somewhat of a social life or a girlfriend you wouold know the importance of a cell phone and please i am no longer a child i perfer young adult please and for the spelling im sorry im not perfect but thanks for nothing with the DESION anyway,douche
