😁 Ok, hi i just joined because i am looking around for info on the Kyocera Slider SE47, I am going to get one on June second and would like some thing to be cleared up and hoped you all could help. I have seen many things about ringtones for many phones, some you need a cable so you connect to a site through your phone. I was wondering if the only way to get new ringtones is to buy the 50$ cable to plug it into your computer. Or can this phone connect to sites and get ringtones that way, because i have heard many different things and I am getting confused even before i own the phone, so i hope someone can answer this for me. Thanks, you can e-mail me at: solidshot27@hotmail.com with any answers or comments about this phone. Thanks agian.

You can get ringtones from websties and have them wap'ed to your phone.

You can get ringtones from Verizon's Get It Now.

All of those will range from $.50 to $3 each.

The cable, you can get for $35 to $45 (depends on serial or usb w/without software).

With the cable you can sync your phonebook, add ringtones & wallpaper, and add MPG ringtones...for free (you just need to do some work).

So bottom line...if you only want one or two ringtones &/or wallpapers then the cable is not for you...but if you want to update, customize, etc, then the data cable will save you $$$ in the long run, plus you can then add things like MPG Ringtones which you can do over the air/wap.
