Anyone have any instructions on how to disassemble the phone? I made an attempt at it today, but had some trouble with getting the front faceplate off. I had a completely clear housing for my T720 and have been considering doing the same with this phone (check eBay - there are plenty of them for SE47)...

Anyone?...

here's a page that has illustrated instructions for disassembling the SE47. i think you'll only need to follow a couple of the steps to change the faceplate...changing the entire housing may require all steps.

thank you for the link--I was really confused as to how to change faceplates on the se47. Everything was a success--but I don't want to do it again anytime soon! 🙂

I went to the site but it looks like a full disassembly is required to get at the bottom screws. I can see where sliding up reveals the pads covering the top screws but how did you get at the bottom ones without full disassembly?

the only way to get to the bottom screws is to disassemble the phone. definitely be careful doing it. i've read about quite a few people damaging their phones after changing faceplates. the most common problem is the display going completely black after they put the phone back together. the other option is to bring the phone to a independent wireless provider and having a technician do it.

Hello,

I am trying to find instructions on how to disassemble this phone. My screen cracked, and I hate to pay an arm and a leg to get it fixed.I went to the site listed above, but it no longer works. Please contact me if you have some information. Thanks.
