Help with Multimedia Messaging and getting photos to phone.

I've had my SE47 for almost two weeks now and have been unable to figure out how to either message or e.mail photos, or ringers for that matter, to this phone so they can be downloaded and used as wallpaper, etc... I've tried e.mailing from my computer, sending photos from another phone to this one and nothing ever comes through with the message other than brackets with the title of the image that was attached from the other end. My service is with Verizon and I can't figure out how to make this work. I downloaded Pictavision and was able to get a few images from them but once I unsubscribed to this one and only service available, all the photos I downloaded were removed along with the application. Im not 100% positive, but about 97% sure: You cannot send photos or recieve photos from any Verizon fone unless its a camera fone. You need to be paying for the send/recieve service that the camera fones have otherwise the only way to get new screensavers is buy get it now downloads. Im only speaking from what Ive tried/experience, but if theres a way to recieve photos to your non-camera fone please inform me. Its also the same thing with company to company for example I cant even send a photo from my vzw camera fone to a sprint camera fone. You want to send and recieve you gotta pay extra.

I do wonder though and its one thing I havent tried was using a cable hooked up to my computer. Dont think it will work though because the phone wont know how to read the file pic, not sure anyone tried it?

You can definitely transfer ringers and photos through the cable. Their are instructions around, but basically you use BitPim to transfer the files. Their are certain parameters for pictures (128x116 I think) and ringers 24bits 16mHz mp3's in mono. Howard Forums has all of the instructions.
