Could they make this work on Verizon?

Eh it was worth a shot. I REALLY want a pure google phone on verizon.

clean android experience with largest 3g coverage (and now 4g). now that would be a win.

eh if you do the same method people get the Verizon iphone to work on sprint yeah would work ( and you go to jail if you get caught to but still)

You can go to jail for activing an iPhone on Sprint?! I can see them maybe saying "no" but you paid for the phone it's yours to do with what you wish I would think.

You would only go to jail if you alter the esn number on the device (which is possible) the problem is the FCC has STRICT laws about esn numbers, and yes, if you somehow got caught, you'd go to jail. Most likely from the MAC address on the device, which you'd also have to spoof to avoid detection.

well since the only way you can get an iphone from Verizon on sprint is to clone the ESN yeah you can go to jail..

You could probably do it with AT&T, they sell the AT&T version of the Nexus S in Canada. I'm sure you can buy the import.

idk about that rumor has it altho it is just a rumor that the next nexus phone will be a motorola and verizon and motoroal perhaps now at&t might get next version i know everyone is gonna start sayin no since motorola locks there bootloaders and such but hey the xoom was a pure google tablet and had an unlockable bootloader and the original droid was a pure google phone so i think there hope
