I may have an answer to ur first problem. The Picture ID will ONLY SHOW PICTURES THAT YOU TAKE WITH THE PHONE'S CAMERA. NO EXCEPTIONS. You can't have the picture ID show downloaded pics on the external LCD. (I contacted Sprint Support on that one

)
