Maybe if it had a 4in screen, wimax, and came out in NOVEMBER people would consider buying it. I loved my pre, but hps moving at a snails pace in the wireless market when everyone else is a rabbit.

Exactly. This is gonna drown in a slew of Android devices complete with 4"+ screens, dual core processors, LTE, etc. iPhone 5 coming out too? Put a fork in it, it's done. Haven't these a-holes learned anything from the initial launch of the Pre? smh

Don't be too suprised if this gets released early and they come out with something else in Q3. HP is no dummy and I think this is just their first offering to put SOMETHING out there. That being said, I think their biggest focus is going to be tablets.

All Androids are looking like a bag of potato chips in different colored bags. At least WebOS will look different.

HP has never seen much success in the mobile phone arena so they bought Palm, but it really is too late.

It was a mistake to announce the Pre 2 AND Pre 3 at the same time. This will kill their Pre 2 sales which will affect the Pre 3 launch too.

The obvious truth is that this phone should have come out 2 years ago. With Android and Apple's dominance in the market and Microsoft's big push, I predict that HP will pull out of the Smartphone market (again) in 24 months.

Intergraded devices that communicate. That's what HP is bringing to the table. Also HP brings hardware that will out the box do some of what the application of iOS and Android do to augment the phone. Sleeping giant. Just wait.

Android has been out for more than 2 years, and most of us are still waiting for them to fix the same 3 pages of known issues that have plagued it since day one.

So whats your point? 🤨

I think in a year or two we'll see good things coming out of HP, but right now they're just trying to get their act together.

I agree that HP is way behind in the marketing side of things. Hardware-wise, this is a BEAST of a phone. That is something HP did well with it. WebOS is a GREAT platform as well, what it needs is more market exposure and a larger list of applications.

I can't believe I am going to say this, but I agree with the "sleeping giant" attitude on this. WebOS has AMAZING potential. Would love to see it take off finally!

I agree too. If HPalm gives the Pre 3 solid hardware build-quality and then quickly announces that 4" touchscreen HTC-ish slab that's been showing up in pics online they can be right back in the game.
