MPX200 problems

I just purchased this phone yesterday and cannot seem to figure out some nuances.

In contcats I am not able to search for the second or third letters of a key.

For instance if I hit the #5, the js come up, but if I hit the #5 2x you would expect K. Doesnt happen; the phone starts to look for some other association with hitting 5 2x.

Also, when I quickly scroll through the contacts some of them have an icon next to them indicating they are stored on the SIM card. Other times they are on the phone.

Called MOTO and AT&T support; neither of which had a clue. Is their anybody out there that knows anything about this?

Hello Brian..
Welcome the world of moto.
For lookup just enter the letters quickly..and the sort should go okay.
Forget hitting the action key has talked about in the manual..
If you go to slow it will work as your described.

You can choose to store your contacts on your sd card or your sim...the sim is a nice backup if you are phone is damaged.
